Chemical Field Technician

 

We are looking for a Chemical Field Technician to join our growing team in Science Park, Ness Ziona. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the system in the field. This position requires frequent travel abroad and fieldwork experience in industrial chemical facilities.

 

Job description:

  • Performs work associated with the maintenance, operation, and installation of industrial equipment.

  • Performing all forms of on-site service, including monitoring, maintaining, and repairing.

  • Diagnosing issues to determine the right course of action.

  • Provide the management with reporting data related to work progress.

  • Fully understand the safety aspects of working within an industrial chemical environment.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Technician/Practical engineer/BSc in Chemistry or mechanical engineering.

  • 10+ years of work experience in operation from the chemical industry.

  • Hands-on technical skills. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

  • Independent.

  • Fluent in English and Hebrew.

  • Ability to travel aboard.

  • Driver’s license required.

  • Knowledge of MS Office is required.

  • Forklift license – an advantage.

Chemical Process Engineer 

We are looking for a  Chemical Process Engineer that wants to work in a fast-growing industry and has experience in designing, constructing, and operating industrial chemical plants.  The responsibilities include design, commissioning, troubleshooting, setting up the plant, and analyzing its system operation. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and business partners to build a new industrial carbon capture system abroad.

 

The position will require frequent travel abroad.

 

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Manage the design, commissioning, and setting up of the demo unit.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot process problems to make continuous and permanent improvements.

  • Uphold a high standard of engineering practice, technical governance, and operational discipline.

  • Work tightly with subcontractors.

  • Be a focal point for Airovation’s partners.

 

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical/Chemical/Biotechnology Engineering from a recognized University.

  • Experience with the design and operation of industrial chemical processes.

  • Experience in air purification or inorganic chemistry or mineralization processes is an advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in commissioning, service, or operation of industrial chemical plants with a ‘hands-on’ approach.

  • Project management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills: demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

  • Good analytical skills, self-starter with drive, focus, and initiative.

  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.

  • Capable of working in dynamic & global environments.

  • Fluent in English and Hebrew.

  • Willingness to work abroad.

Instrumentation & Control Engineer 

We are looking for an Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our growing team in Ness-Ziona, Israel. The successful candidate will provide ongoing support for maintenance activities in the instruments and control field, in accordance with requirements, procedures, and safety regulations.

 

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Develop and update PLC and HMI software

  • Select, size, and specify various field instruments

  • Supervise electrical/control panels fabrication and instrumentation installations

  • Configure, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instrumentation and electrical equipment

  • Travel to the different sites of the company as part of the role

 

Requirements:

  • Education: Practical Engineering / Technician - mechanics or electronics

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a similar position

  • Clear understanding of process control requirements

  • Commissioning and field experience - a must

  • Hands-on technical skills and problem-solver approach - a must

  • Experience working in an international company - advantage

  • Willingness to combine fieldwork with office work

  • Ability to work in a complicated and dynamic environment – a must

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Willingness to work abroad
